Love Letter 22 – True Love

Love Letter 22 – True Love

Meditative ohms are replaced by Leela James soul as I exchange my Jade teal yoga mat for my Mom’s Love Letter 22, October 4, 1960 – namaste:

Tuesday afternoon
#102

My darling!
How I love you!
Got off work at 7:15 AM then drove up to Mary Jo and Bobby’s apartment for breakfast – we laughed and talked about their happy and glorious love lives.
They have both been bitten by the love bug and I am so envious that they have their loved ones w/ them.
Arrived back @ #102 about 9:30 then off to bed for 3 hours then up I got as am off to-nite and must resume my normal sleeping habits (that of going to bed when everyone else does).
Got my washing done and hemmed (shortened) 2 dresses then to the writing pad –
Wrote a couple of letters I owed about the continent then had to write you dear and tell you how very much I love you!!
“My Fair Lady” was playing on the radio and those selections really ‘get me’ or could I say frustrate me, my honey!
Guess it’s because “I’ve Grown Accustomed to Your Face, The Street Where You Live,” etc. bring back such a wonderful memory –
Remember dear, Sausalito and our wee bar there – what a feeling of true love when we spent several hours there, near the fireplace w/ each other then we got into our car –
I would have been so very content and happy to sit there in the car endlessly – how happy we were – and how very lucky I am to have you, dear.
What a glorious future we are to have –
I enjoy sitting & talking to you via written words when I’m sitting alone in our apartment thinking of you –
Can you just imagine how many hours in our married life we’ll just sit in each others’ arms and reminisce (am sure the spelling is atrocious of this one ).
Was over to 2612 Webster for a short while on Sunday and our bottom stair was still there – how very many times I think of that exact spot where you told me you had fallen in love with me – hardly shook up, my dear.
And the nite on the blue couch at Apt #4 – 2612 Webster when I told you I loved you – you just beamed, my dear and 5:30 AM or was it 6 AM came so very soon and off I roared to work – did I ever tell you I believe I lost a fair amount of sleep during our courting days, but oh every minute was worth it.
And laying on the sands of Stinson beach where you proposed to me – Zowie.
The music is so fabulous now – your other girl Jeri Southern just sang a selection and Los Angeles entered my mind.
But besides that one; the words of “Unchained Melody” has just been sung and oh how they struck me:
“Oh my Love, I’ve hungered for your touch
Time goes by so slowly and time can do so much
I need your love – ”
Music can do so much to an individual.
Hope all is well w/ you dear – I miss you so, but my counting the days make it seem shorter – I guess.
I love you so!
Will finish this letter tomorrow.
Chopp – Chopp!!

Music can do so much to an individual.
Particularly when added to that feeling of true love . . . while sitting together in a wee Sausalito bar or sharing an apartment building’s bottom stair, a living room’s blue couch or lying on the sands of Stinson Beach!

My heart is ready
For love and to be loved
