Love Letter 14 – 2612
Love Letter 14 – 2612
The mystical soul beat of Twinset’s Sunny travels easily around the walls of the sun-drenched room as the taste of salt lingers on my lips from the early morning sea breeze – ah, fabulous Friday. I dive whole heartedly into the gentle waves of Mom’s Love Letter 14:

Am going over to Pat’s next week – to get some sewing done – have several skirts I’m making. She is doing quite a bit of swimming. Their family is all well – Robert as cute as ever, Frank starting to study – sound familiar?
Change of pen – blue one ran out.
Was talking to Homer to-nite for awhile – said he’d come over and visit when Joan is out – he has been rather put out w/ her lately and they haven’t been out together since you left – I’m not sure what the trouble is – none of my worries tho’ – He enjoyed going out w/ her for a good time and evidently Joan thought he was getting too serious – who knows. Right now he’s got a cute blonde he’s going fairly steady w/.
Haven’t seen Bob since you left other than at the wedding.
Seems so funny since we’ve been away from 2612 it seems like strange surroundings – even tho’ it means so very much to us –
Every time I go over there and remember those wonderful times we had – especially those bottom stairs – will definitely attempt to bring that first one back w/ me to our trophy room, honey.
What a nite – and you were so very quiet that nite – I didn’t know what you had on your mind – sure am glad it was what it was –
I love you too so much darling!
Can hardly wait and sit and talk over so many of our memories – how many thousand times will we re-live them?, eh!
Got a letter from Donna (girl in Saskatoon who got married last Dec 26th) – she said we’ll never wait until April – said the minute we are together again we’ll decide to get married – sounds fabulous doesn’t it –
Soon you’ll be hearing from Carole & Don – sure hope you have a few spare mins to meet them.
Well honey think I’ll close now as I do have a few things to do –
Hope you’re feeling more up to par.
“Oh I hate work” – who does that sound like?
Bye now –
I love you w/ all my heart!
Will you marry me?
Yours always,
Bette xxxxxx
Chopp – Chopp!
A special hello to Mom Johnston
We’ll M
om, appears the distance from 2612 does little to fade the shared memories with Dad – in, out and all around the now ‘strange surroundings.’ And nothing so precious as that bottom stair – for the trophy room indeed!
Sunny I want to thank you for the sweet and warm embrace . . .
Sunny one so true, I love you

Memories, Memories, Memories….all so very special.
You said it!
