Ernie and Joan are fine – Ernie out a lot now, but no real interests.
You’ll miss a couple of ‘Peanuts’ as I forgot to get the kids to cut them out and threw the Chronicle out.
On Thursday nite Peanuts was on T.V. – just the cartoonist (Schulz) naturally very interesting – he sketched quite a few funnies explaining fully where he got his ideas, etc and introduced each character individually w/ a full explanation of each ones’ personality – talked quite a bit about the baseball game (deep grass) and the rain articles.
Really enjoyed the short programme.
Here it is 1 A.M. and of course am at work on 3rd floor.
Have done very little as usual, but one of my little old coronaries (70yrs) has had his signal light on several times – likes talking to me and to-day he said he heard I was a Canadian nurse who is getting married in the New Year – doesn’t want to lose me so wants my name & address and your name – I do have him very spoiled, rub his back more often than I rub yours dear, but he is a nice patient – have 3 little old men over 80 to look after to-nite so should be kept busy later on as they usually wake up about 3 o’clock.
Well my love, best I close now & get these 2 mailed – please remember I love you so very much – soon we’ll be together getting ready for April.
